Embr Holdings LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Relay email relay service available at www.relay.app ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.
By using Relay, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up for Relay, we collect your name, email address, and organization details (such as company name, address, and phone number). This information is used to create and manage your account, send you invoices, and communicate essential service updates.
Email Data
Relay processes email messages on your behalf as part of its core relay functionality. This includes inbound and outbound email content, headers, sender and recipient addresses, and attachments. We process this data solely to provide the Service and do not use email content for advertising or any purpose unrelated to delivering the Service.
Usage Data
We collect usage metrics such as message counts and relay event logs to enforce plan limits, monitor service health, and improve the Service.
Cookies and Session Data
We use a single authentication session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Relay email relay service.
- To manage your account, process billing, and enforce subscription plan limits.
- To communicate with you about your account, including service updates, security alerts, and support responses.

- Business transfers. If Embr Holdings LLC is acquired by or merged with another company, we will notify you before any personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Data Retention
When you cancel your account, all of your data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. Data you delete while your account is active will also be purged within 30 days.
Security & Encryption
All data transmitted between our servers and your browser is encrypted via SSL/TLS. We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Law Enforcement
We will not disclose your data to law enforcement unless compelled by a valid court order or legal process. Unless legally prohibited, we will notify you when such requests are made.
Location of Site and Data
The Service is operated in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
